Hello there!

I'm Max Keate and I am thrilled to be your guide to academic success.

A little about me:

My goal is to inspire a love of learning in the students I work with, and to foster academic confidence so they know they can succeed. I have Mental Health First Aid Training, and work well with neurodivergent students.

I recently graduated from the University of Utah with an Honors Bachelors of Arts in History. In my high school years I scored a 34 on the ACT, was awarded AP Scholar with Distinction by The College Board, participated as a member of the Academic Decathlon team that took 2nd in State, and graduated 7th in my graduating class of almost 800 students.

I can guide students to mastery in any core subject, and in many elective or specialty subjects as well.

What to expect:

Students working with me can expect empathetic, effective, and engaging communication. It's my belief that the best teachers are good storytellers, and they know how to tailor their communication style to each individual student, ensuring mastery of curriculum concepts. As a member of the younger generation myself, I can also offer a more relatable and connected experience for current K-12 students.
